SOURCES & VERIFIABILITY

Behind
the content.

The sources let you read further and see what the information is based on.

Different sources.
Different purposes.

We use sources for what they can actually support. Official guidelines tell us about the organisation’s own framework. Dictionaries explain words. Museum catalogues document particular objects.

Practitioners’ accounts are useful for technical language and the tradition’s understanding of itself. They are not automatically independent evidence for medieval dates.

The club’s training time and venue come from Mikael’s message via Niko. Membership arrangements, equipment and local training plans should be confirmed with the club.

The content of this site

The club’s training time and venue follow Mikael’s message via Niko. The September 2024 flyer was used as background. Its older timetable, age limit and trial-session terms have not been carried forward as current.

Bujinkan and its history

The name and a word from the tradition

The schools and the terms

Each of the nine schools has a source link in its expanded profile. The descriptions draw on Bujinkan practitioners’ own accounts. These are sources for the tradition’s understanding of itself; they do not independently confirm every historical claim.
